1. How much does Snap N Lap cost? Snap N Lap is priced at $17.50 (U.S.) plus shipping and handling.
2. How do I pay for Snap N Lap? We accept payment only through Paypal. All payments are processed through Paypal's secure server. The information you provide will be encrypted and secure. We use the address information you provide to process your order and do NOT share the information with anyone else. Paypal handles the financial portion (see question 3 below). Sales tax applies for orders shipped to places in California.
3. Is my personal data safe when I order? Yes. Paypal uses SSL Technology to keep your information safe. In addition, when you send a payment using Paypal, we (the recipient) will not receive sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank account number. Thus, you do not have to worry about providing your financial data to someone you do not know.
4. How long will it take to receive my Snap N Lap? Approximately 10 days after your order is received. You will receive a e-mail notice when your Snap N Lap is shipped.
5. Do you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses or foreign countries? At present we only ship to addresses in the 50 U.S. States and U.S. Territories (Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa and Northern Marianas), and not to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses.
6. What does shipping cost? Shipping varies depending on the amount of your order. It amounts to a percentage of your purchase price and is related to the number shipped. We ship using The U.S. Postal Service. Approximate costs range between $10 for one Snap N Lap to $33 for five.
7. Do you take phone orders? No. To keep our expenses and your price low, we sell only on the internet.
8. What do I do when I receive my Snap N Lap? Open the box to make sure everything is OK. If not, contact us to tell us what is wrong. You will see that Snap N Lap comes with 10 paper plates inserted upside down to protect the hooks in shipment. Remove the paper plates by pushing them up from one hook and sliding them out. It is easier if you remove them 3-5 at a time. Snap N Lap also comes with 4 non-skid dots on the bottom at the corners. These will prevent Snap N Lap from slipping on a smooth surface.
9. How big is Snap N Lap and how is it made? Snap N Lap is made of solid, clear acrylic. It is 11-1/2 inches by 10 inches and 1-1/2 inches high from bottom of the base to the top of the hooks. The base is machined and the hooks are individually fabricated, so there will be very minor variations in the hooks. The edges are beveled and polished, so there are no sharp edges. The name "Snap N Lap" is on a decal on the base.
10. Can I put Snap N Lap in the dishwasher? No. It is best to wash or rinse it by hand.
11. How can I contact you? Click the "Contact Us" item on the left on any page to send us an e-mail or to see our mailing address.
12. Can I return Snap N Lap if it does not meet my needs? Yes. Notify us by E-Mail within 15 days of receipt for return instructions. Snap N Lap must be in new condition and returned in it's complete and original packaging or equivalent. It must be properly packaged and insured with return shipping paid in advance. After receipt of the box, we will inspect Snap N Lap. If it is in resellable condition, you will receive full credit for the purchase price (not shipping and handling) within 10 business days.
13. Snap N Lap uses disposable paper plates. Is there a more environmentally friendly way of feeding my cat? We have tried to find a flexible re-usable plate for Snap N Lap, but have been unable to find such a plate. However, the plastic lid from a Cool Whip container works well with Snap N Lap. Similar lids should also work.
14. How else can I use Snap N Lap? You don't have to be a cat to use Snap N Lap. Snap N Lap can be for you too! People can use Snap N Lap to hold 6 inch paper plates with snacks, munchies and hors d'oeuvres.
